Israel murders three Palestinians in lead up to 74th commemoration of the Nakba
Attend one of dozens of events taking place around the country
This week, Naftali Bennett proclaimed that Israel “has sovereignty over all of Jerusalem”, in direct contradiction to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation demolished a residential building in annexed east Jerusalem leaving 35 people – mostly children – homeless. This is the sovereignty Mr. Bennett references, the freedom to destroy and shatter Palestinian lives.
Yesterday, Israeli occupation forces shot and killed U.S. citizen and Aljazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
What tomorrow will bring is clear: a continuation of the Israeli occupation, a system of apartheid, and further displacement and dispossession of Palestinian families. Despite the odds, we can make a difference. At American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), we believe Americans have the ability to initiate change at home, here in the United States.
On the 74th anniversary of the Nakba, the Zionist mass expulsion campaign against indigenous Palestinians that led to the death of thousands and the displacement of over 1 million Palestinians, AMP encourages you to take a stand. Protests are taking place across the country and their success is directly dependent on your attendance and support!
